Success Streak Continues: LUMS NOP Team Excels at Gilgit-Baltistan Career Fest 2023

Against the stunning scenery of Skardu, the Gilgit-Baltistan Career Fest was a remarkable educational event. It took place from September 22nd to 24th and was organized by the Gilgit-Baltistan Government Officials including GB Chief Secretary Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani, Deputy Commissioner Ghanche Umer Vaqar, Assistant Commissioner Skardu Captain Umer, and Assistant Commissioner Roundu Talha Asad Khan, officials from the Gilgit Baltistan Rural Support Program (GBRSP) and many more. This event symbolized a grand celebration of learning and the potential for growth.
 

Drawing in around 25,000 eager students, the GB Career Fest emerged as the hub for educational discovery and motivation. Diverse esteemed institutions such as LUMS NOP Centre, NUST, UET, SUPARCO, PIFD, National College of Arts (NCA), Teradata, HEC, SECP, OGDCL, The Urban Unit and numerous others collaboratively worked to empower the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The NOP Outreach Team had the honor of engaging with esteemed government officials, including the distinguished GB Chief Secretary, Mr. Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani. This interaction underscored the region's leadership commitment to uplifting its youth through education.

For the NOP Team, these three days were a whirlwind of active engagement, deep mentorship, and a source of profound inspiration. A multitude of students eagerly delved into the possibilities offered by the NOP programs, not only uncovering opportunities but also encountering a guiding beacon that lit their educational paths.

The conclusion of the GB Career Fest was remarkable, echoing with the vibrancy of ignited dreams and illuminated possibilities. It served as a heartfelt celebration of education, empowerment, and the boundless potential of the young people in Gilgit-Baltistan.
