NOP Team Attends Session at Karnal Sher Khan Cadet College Swabi
In an effort to maximise its outreach and build liaison, the National Outreach Programme (NOP) team attended the first-ever Education Connect arranged by the Karnal Sher Khan Cadet College Swabi (KSKCCS) in October 2022.
The event was led by the Sherian Alumni Association, with the objective to guide KSKCCS students about future opportunities in different universities across Pakistan. Delegates from top-ranked institutions across Pakistan attended the event to share information about the diverse opportunities in various fields.
The event kicked off with a brief note from the Principal of Karnal Sher Khan Cadet College, Brigadier (R) Wajid, who explained the purpose behind organising such an event. Afterwards, the team was guided to the auditorium where they addressed more than 700 cadets. They were given a detailed presentation about LUMS, the NOP, and the opportunities available for talented students through the NOP scholarship. Students were given a comprehensive overview of the Summer Coaching Session application process. A question and answer session was also held where cadets were able to inquire about the admission criteria and the various facilities available at LUMS.
Feedback obtained from the educators and administrators was very positive and they thanked the team for visiting the institution. The Principal stated that students under his tutelage were eager to submit their applications for the NOP Summer Coaching Session (SCS) 2023. Similarly, Abdul Basit, President, Karnal Sher Khan Cadet College Alumni Association, praised the informative nature of the presentation content.
The Principal awarded the NOP team with appreciation shields and certificates, thanking them for participating in the event. Based on established communication built between LUMS and Karnal Sher Khan Cadet College Swabi and its Alumni Association; NOP Centre looks forward to seeing cadets from the college in the upcoming SCS 2023.
