Pathways to Possibilities: LUMS NOP Team Transforms Lives in Mianwali, Harnoli, DIK, and Khushab

The recent LUMS NOP Team tour across Mianwali, Harnoli, DIK, and Khushab involved impactful engagements with 11 colleges, reaching a total of 830 students. Some of the colleges which were visited include, Punjab College and the Government Boys Degree College in Minawali, Daanish Schools in Harnoli, Wensam College and Government College Sciences in Dera Ismail Khan.  Additionally, Paharpur's Girls Degree College and Zubair Science College, along with Punjab Colleges in Khushab, collectively contributed to the team's interactions.

The team provided training to placement teachers in all boarding colleges on the SCS application filling, encouraged exploration of diverse fields, and offered valuable tips for the admission process. The NOP reps also assured that they would share LCAT entry test preparation materials with colleges so that the student body to make use of the provided resources. Students from previous SCS 2023 also joined the sessions at Daanish School, DIK, and asked questions about the admission process and further steps. These students were briefed on the process further to improve their chances of becoming part of LUMS.

The visit aimed to foster awareness about NOP, inspire higher education pursuit, and position LUMS as an accessible educational opportunity, contributing to the broader mission of educational empowerment.
