From Lyari to Karimabad: LUMS NOP's Journey of Educational Empowerment

Embarking on a mission to foster educational empowerment, the LUMS NOP Outreach Team journeyed to Karachi, with a special focus on the vibrant tapestry of Karachi's diverse population.

In a series of impactful engagements, the team forged collaborations with esteemed organizations such as Hindu Seva - Jagrutri, The Citizen Foundation (TCF) and Khadija Welfare Trust College and Orphanage Korangi, expanding our reach to needy communities.

Venturing into the heart of Liyari, the team joined hands with the Kiran Foundation, extending our support to uplift marginalized youth. At Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Karimabad, we connected with students from both morning and afternoon shifts, paving the way for future collaborations. Thanks to the support of the school principal, we also ventured into AKHSS Kharadar for the first time, opening new avenues of opportunity. Witnessing the enthusiasm of students from the Hindu community in our collaboration with Jagrutri was truly inspiring. Moreover, the warm reception from the Founder of Jaffria Disaster Cell JDC, along with his endorsement on social media, further amplified our message, reaching over 250,000 viewers in Karachi and beyond. As we continue our journey, NOP envisions broadening our spectrum, forging meaningful partnerships with schools, colleges, and welfare organizations across Karachi, empowering lives and shaping futures.
