His vision laid the foundation for LUMS, an institution committed to academic excellence and providing opportunities for talented students from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their financial circumstances, religion or social standing. His determination to identify and nurture exceptional talent across the country also inspired the development of extensive financial aid initiatives and the National Outreach Programme (NOP), a cause particularly close to his heart. His continued guidance and commitment have been central to the programme's growth and success, reflected in the achievements of NOP scholars and graduates.
