Passing Year:

My family lives in Quetta and I am the eldest of the four siblings in our family. My father used to run a small cafeteria in my home city and is now working as a room attendant in a hotel.

I heard about LUMS for the first time back in 2004 when I was in 8th grade studying in Balochistan Residential College, Loralai. It was that day when I aimed of being admitted to LUMS and I worked very hard to achieve my dream.

I consider my time at LUMS neither a success nor a failure. During my four years at LUMS I experienced some of the best moments of my life. I gathered enough courage to do the things which I was most afraid of.

Moreover, I got admission in Central European University (CEU), Budapest, Hungary. Currently, I am studying in the two years MA Economics program of CEU on fellowship. The CEU fellowship includes total tuition waiver, free accommodation in the university’s residence center, free health insurance, and some stipend.

NOP scholarship is a gift and this gift has made me more responsible and has provided me hope and belief. I am grateful that LUMS and its National Outreach Program have made it possible for me to have my own little story to tell.
